This is a (possible) solution to solve the traffic jams in Bangalore's Intermediate Ring Road. The proposed timed U turns would have a barricade separating the two roads. The unmanned U turn would not have any barricade and would be similar to the existing U turn. The two timed U turns' would be mutually exclusive in allowing traffic through them and the time period would be at an optimal rate to allow traffic to flow freely.
